More modern, more informative and of course “responsive” – we are pleased about the relaunch of our website. In addition to a modern design and technical optimizations, we have also restructured and created new content for maximum transparency. Under “Industry Solutions” you will find information about tailor-made solutions in numerous industries, such as the automotive, electrical and construction industries. Our blog has also received a “refresh” and will inform you about interesting news from DTE in the future. The responsiveness of our website was particularly important to us. Thanks to the optimization, you can conveniently call up the relevant content from any terminal.
Breakfast with clout
On the occasion of the detonation of the Öhringhausen bei Olpe-Rosenthal viaduct, we invited our families and business friends to a breakfast event. The detonation of the bridge could be seen from the Hüppcherhammer industrial park.

The 7th General Assembly of the Trägerverein
On 28 April 2016, the 7th General Assembly of the Automotive Center Südwestfalen e.V. took place. Here the annual report from the year 2015 was presented. At present there are 109 members, whereby the company “TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH” joined as the latter.
In addition, the development of the company Automotive Center Südwestfalen e.V. and its research activities were presented. In addition, Dr. Nicole Klein gave 3 lectures on the topic of Generative Manufacturing (3D metal printers) “Bedeutung für die zukünftige Fahrzeugentwicklung” , Dr. Sebastian Kersten “Bedeutung für die Umformtechnik und den Werkzeugbau” and VIA Cosult “Current State of the Art; An Opportunity for SMEs?”.
In addition, there was an exhibition acs “Inhouse” where the equipment and services of the departments were presented.
Sand moulds from the 3D printer
On 15th March 2016, some employees from Dörrenberg Edelstahl GmbH in Engelskirchen visited our premises. They got an insight into the foundry and the manufacturing processes. One special feature of the site is a modern 3D printing system, which can produce small sand moulds in just a few hours. This process is expected to replace the conventional method of production of Exporit models.

Inauguration of the new building
The company inauguration ceremony was held on 12/6/2015. We welcomed over 250 guests.
We’d like to once again thank Arndt Günter Kirchhoff (Vice-Chair of the VDA, President Metall NRW, Kirchhoff Managing Director and shareholder) for his guest lecture on “The importance of small and medium-sized businesses for Germany as a place for business” and Dr Max Rupert (from CSI) for his lecture on “The coffee bean”.
Uli Vetter’s collection of small BMW parts and other exhibits supplied by Profil, Springer and TEC-NORM provided for the topic of conversation.
As evening approached, the cover band “Taktlos”, from the Rhode musical society, started their set, and ensured a lively atmosphere.
The inauguration
On the occasion of the inauguration of the new DTE building, Gewerbepark Hüppcherhammer GmbH presented us with a wonderful aerial photo of the finished building. Other photos from the inauguration ceremony will follow shortly.
Move to the new DTE building has been completed
Although not all work on the new DTE building has been completed, we have taken the leap over to the Hüppcherhammer industrial park, and moved into our new offices.
